We were honored to partner with the YMCA of San Diego County and the YMCA’s Expanded Learning Program (ELP), in collaboration with the San Ysidro School District, to kick off 2026 with the first round of on-campus visits for BMX Pro for a Day.
This program gave us the opportunity to work with an incredible group of students, many of whom were learning to ride a bike for the very first time. By the end of the day, countless kids had built confidence, improved their skills, and experienced the joy of riding on two wheels. Our team focused on bike and street safety, proper riding techniques, and building a foundation for lifelong active habits.
We were especially grateful to Vans for their generous sponsorship, which allowed us to provide brand-new shoes to many of the students. Seeing the excitement and pride on their faces was a powerful reminder of why this work matters.
It was truly a privilege for our team to start the year alongside such dedicated partners and inspiring kids, and we look forward to continuing to grow this program throughout 2026.
