The GT/Dvide BMX team brought the heat to the 2024 Southern California State Finals Championship, delivering impressive results across multiple classes. Here’s how our riders fared in the overall standings:
Overall Results:
Justus Standley, aka Brucer Bermbanger, put together a series of strong rides this season, earning 2nd place overall in the 46-50 Expert class. His consistency and power made him a standout throughout the championship.
Dalton McAuliffe the newly acquired rider fought hard in the highly competitive 26-35 Intermediate class, securing a solid 4th place overall. His determination and strong work ethic was evident as he navigated through tough competition.
“Hollywood” Hailey Strouse again showed her star power and took 3rd place overall in the 15-16 Girls Expert class. Her speed and skill on the track were on full display all weekend, including a run at the women’s pro class in the Hole Shot Challenge.
Gus Cruz had a phenomenal weekend, claiming 1st place overall in cruiser and a strong 3rd place overall in the 11 Expert class. His double podium showcases his versatility and strength.
Penelope “Peanut” Malcolm continued to shine, earning 3rd place overall in cruiser and 4th place overall in the 10 Expert Girls class. Her competitive spirit was on full display as she battled in both categories.
Jon Callicott had a perfect weekend, dominating both categories with 1st place overall in cruiser and 1st place overall in the 51-55 Expert class, cementing his reputation as a top-tier competitor.
Maddie DeSantis crushed the competition in the 21-30 Women’s Cruiser class, taking 1st place overall with a commanding performance that left no doubt about her speed and skill.
The GT/Dvide team left their mark at the State Finals, proving once again that they’re a force to be reckoned with. With multiple podium finishes and overall wins, the team continues to build on a successful 2024 season.
