USA BMX Grand Nationals

The 2016 season finally came to an end over Thanksgiving weekend at the USA BMX Grand Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Both Anthony Dean & Dani George went into the race looking for a good result to cement a great season on not only the international front but also on the domestic one as well.

Dani, unfortunately crashed during qualifying at Friday’s Race of Champions and from there on out was riding at 60 percent with a shoulder injury for the rest of the weekend. She dropped from 2nd in points to 4th after not making it through to the finals Friday or Saturday night.

Anthony was on the gas all weekend finishing 3rd at the Race of Champions and backing it up Saturday night winning the Grands over the 3 finals with UCI World Champion Joris Daudet 2nd and Olympic Champion, Connor Fields in 3rd. Impressive Podium shot for sure against the Chase boys.

Daudet ended up with enough points to take the USA BMX title for the 2nd year with Anthony bumping up a few spots into 4th with his win. Great finish to the year for Anthony and the Team with a win at one of the toughest events of the year.

It’s been a great year, which wouldn’t have been possible without the continued support of all of our sponsors and we share our gratitude to all of them for making it happen. Here’s to another great year ahead!
