Over the weekend, Anthony Dean, competed in Argentina for the 4th Round of UCI SX World Cup. Anthony really loves racing down the big hill and it has shown with his consistent results at the World Cups this year. Anthony was feeling great and qualified through the heats with some wins and went on to get 2nd place in the quarter and semi finals, earning himself good lane selection for the final. Unfortunately, a little late out of the gate in the final and stuck in traffic, Anthony tried to battle through but went down to end his day. On a positive note, Anthony’s healthy (no injuries) and now moves into 2nd Place in overall World Cup points going into Chula Vista for the final round. He is in striking distance of the overall title and gets to sleep in his own bed and race on his favorite track of the tour, as he lives nearby the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center.
