USABMX Pro National Oldsmar

With the second stop of the USABMX Pro National Series in Oldsmar, Florida this past weekend, it marked our first Chase/Stay Strong full-team race outing of the Season. Needless to say, everyone was excited. Oldsmar is recognized as one of the top-notch facilities in the US and with what they have planned, it will soon be one of the best in the World.

Anthony Dean, was anxious to get it rolling over the weekend and really started to get in the flow of his racing in the earlier motos. By the time the semi-finals hit, Anthony was up for it to get himself in the main event – unfortunately, that all changed with a crash while in a qualifying spot. A quick trip to the medics, he tried to put it back together but struggled a bit on Sunday with pain and ended his weekend a bit disappointed but we know he’ll heal up and be rearing to go in Dallas in a couple of weeks.

Cristian Becerine, as always, a solid performance all weekend with a win on Saturday and a 3rd on Sunday. We can always count on Crisitan to hit the box.

Bryce Betts has been working hard all winter and was looking to build on his performance in Reno. Bryce came away with 4 main event showings including two 2nds and a 4th in open and class. A consistent showing for sure.

Next up, team manager Dale Holmes decided to bring the bike down to Florida, as he couldn’t imagine sitting around for 5 days. Dale placed 2nd on Saturday and is looking forward to doing a couple of more races. It was a fun weekend overall, as we all hung out and spent time with the Chase factory team guys. Special thanks to Pete Dylewski of Chase for his assistance in coordinating a number of efforts over the weekend.
